JC is a social psychologist and Emeritus Regents Professor in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. He is a past president of the international organization, The Society for Consumer Psychology. His most recent book is Death Benefits available on Kindle and Amazon in paperback. His non-fiction books include--Judgment Calls: High-Stakes Decisions in a Risky World (Simon & Schuster), The Art of High-Stakes Decision-Making with Keith Murnighan (John Wiley & Sons), and multiple textbooks on consumer behavior. He published over 70 refereed journal articles in the fields of decision-making, consumer behavior, and personality. Before his academic career, JC was a Ranger-qualified Army officer. He received the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster for actions in Vietnam. JC is also a digital artist and low handicap golfer. He resides in Santa Fe, NM.
